LETI-Dollars for Scholars has announced the names of six students from south Snohomish County who are winners of scholarships provided by Best Buy of Lynnwood.

The students to be honored and the schools represented are Francesca Nguyen of Mountlake Terrace, Celia Diaz-Caro of Lynnwood, Yuliana Montes of Lynnwood, Criss Chaney of Meadowdale, Joanna Merkurieff of Meadowdale, and Lee M. Peel of Mariner.

The scholarships, each in the amount of $500, will be available for use at any post-secondary institution, for studies beginning Summer or Fall, 2002.

LETI-DFS expressed gratitude to Best Buy of Lynnwood for the generosity it has shown in contributing these funds for deserving students.
